Create the Adverts

Learning Outcome 3 (U20): Be able to produce the planned material components

P4 (U20): Create production materials to be used in the original media product
M3 (U20): Create production material that follows the codes and conventions of the chosen genre for the media product

This is our PhizzWizzard advert that will be broadcasted across various different TV channels as well as over our social media pages. We will ensure that the channels it will be broadcasted on are age appropriate to our target audience.

This is the hand drawn practice for our magazine advert. It is clear that we had a vision in mind for what we wanted to accomplish. We had to change some of our positioning ideas so that.

This is the hand drawn mock up for our billboard advert, we tried to recreate this for our photoshopped version.

Th

This is a print ad that will be displayed in magazines and newspapers again only ones that our target audience read as this is the audience we will benefit from in terms of selling our product.

This print ad is for the billboards, this will be displayed across busy motorways and high streets so that is gets maximum viewing rom the public.

We ensured that both of our adverts have stayed within the same colour scheme as the can so that everything ties in together. We incorporated all the codes and conventions that we identified in our prior research. We were able to ensure that the colour scheme was consistent, the slogan was included in each of our adverts as well as using the same product image.
We included all the social media pages that our product will have with the link to each of the pages for the audience to easily access. The font is the same on both adverts as well as at the end of the video advert.

These are mockups that we created to give an example of what our adverts would look like on each of the platform they will be displayed on.

Feedback for our Video Advert:

This video is a compilation of feedback from several members of our target audience to gather their thoughts on our Video Advert.
From this we discovered that:
-Strawberry laces are popular with the younger audience, this is something that makes them want to buy it
-The can as the character is appealing to all members of the audience
-With the older target audience the thing that is refraining them from buying the product is the content of the drink however they still enjoy the advert and think it is creative
-It would be even better if the video was more fluent and not as jumpy from take to take
-The length was an issue for some viewers as they felt they wanted more from the narrative.
-Our younger audience told us that they enjoyed the narrative and it was easy to follow but again said that it was quick to watch and wished it was longer.

Feedback for Print Ads:

Interviewing audience members has given us an idea of what we did well with our billboard and magazine ads and what they felt we could have done better.

WWW:
  • Colour scheme and fonts where consistent which made the product and advert easily recognisable and made the whole campaign look more professional. It also made the whole campaign tie together as one. There was something that linked them all together.
  • Good use of social media, we are able to expand to a wider audience which means there is more recognition for the brand and the product.
EBI:
  • The background is very busy, there is a lot of colour and shape that could make it hard for people to concentrate on certain parts. It is made hard to decide what to focus on first
  • Purple glow around the edge of the can is a new purple and would look more tied together if it was one of the same purples already used.
  • We could have included the logo of our advertising company which would have given us free advertising.
It was said that they liked that there wasn't too much text however to contradict this it was said that they would have liked more writing to explain what the product is and who is selling it.
